We went and saw "The Dark Knight Rises" yesterday. LOVE! I loved it SO much! I couldn't stop smiling after the movie was over.

It was probably our first date without Bryton since he's been born. Ferree watched the kids while we doubled with Cerise and Lynn.

But yes, it is a hard call between the two last Batman movies. I might like the newer one better because I'm a sucker for superheros getting girls.

In the beginning I was quite skeptical about Anne Hathaway playing Catwoman, but I totally forgot about those thoughts as she quickly developed her character. She wasn't exactly sexy, but she was sassy and sophisticated, which was good enough for me!

And Christian Bale -- job well done again :) Ever since "Newsies," I don't think I'll ever get over him. *sigh*

I was also quite pleased to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He's attractive in a very different way (he wins my Hollywood "Best Dressed" award).

All in all, I recommend the movie to everyone. But if anyone can't afford to see it, you can find it at our house come Christmas :)

Googlers

So, as many of you guys know, Jaren just started at Google.

When Jaren got his letter of welcome, they told him that he can start referring to himself as a Noogler -- a New Googler. Cute, huh? Jaren kind of wrinkled his nose, so I decided to include myself and told him that I was a Woogler -- the wife of a Googler. He smiled and me and said, "At least we're not Booglers!"

Bryton is the baby of a Googler :)

Yes... I just took this on my webcam. Jaren would be so disappointed in me if he knew... After all, we have three cameras.

Morning Sickness?

I'm pregnant! That's why I haven't blogged in forever. You can check out my other blog (http://thelamprechts.blogspot.com/) for more details on that.

But I finally understanding what morning sickness is. And I now understand that it is the BIGGEST misnomer that has ever existed. EVER.

They should have named it "Life in the Underworld" or "The Never Ending Terribleness" or even "You'll Regret Getting Pregnant." I think any one of those would apply.

All in all, it's a miraculous day if I don't throw up.

But let's think positive. I am grateful for morning sickness because then I know the baby is still there.

He's dead.

Cerise and I shared Little Blue as our Christmas present the year I turned 9. He was the best blow dryer I have ever used. He has hot and strong.

When Cerise went to college, I told her she had to leave Little Blue behind. When I went to college, I took him with me. Now I'm 22. Yesterday morning, poor Little Blue stopped working. I think 13 years isn't bad for a WalMart blow dryer.

Life just won't be the same without him...

You Rock, I Rock, Not Everyone Rocks

I like dependable people. Should I use the word 'love' instead?

As a student at a ridiculously competitive university, it is necessary for me to cleave to other dependable people. Otherwise, my life/grades would be in shambles.

Isn't it sad when grades=my life? Or is it my life=grades?

Regardless, I am thankful for all the dependable people in this world, and I hope that I can always repay the favor.
